Tousi’s research group develops millimeter wave and sub-terahertz wireless sensing and communications integrated circuits and systems. We use integrated silicon-based technology to build millimeter radios, phased arrays and sub-terahertz standoff and hyper-spectral imaging systems. By pursuing a combination of system-level innovations as well as fundamental advances, we strive to overcome the conventional limitations at the frontend of high-frequency wireless systems and introduce efficient and miniature electromagnetic sensing and communication devices.
