His research interests are primarily in robotics, computer vision, sensor networks and geometric algorithms, and their applications in agriculture and environmental monitoring.
In remote sensing, he has worked on design and analysis of optimization algorithms for optimal placement or motion of sensors for target localization, tracking and scene reconstruction.
