My research interests include Data Science theory, methods and algorithms and Big Data applications to neuroimaging, climate sciences, social sciences, and networks and graphs. I primarily work on conditional statistical inferential and predictive methods like resampling techniques, Bayesian statistics and empirical likelihood methods that simultaneously obtain quantities of interest and related uncertainties and error bounds. A related topic that I am currently interested in in the context of high-dimensional and infinite-dimensional problems is on development of conditional statistical methodology that are nearly optimal both from computational as well as statistical perspectives.
