Broad interest: How changing land use affects both natural resources and humans. Focus areas include the use of remote sensing and other geospatial science methods in applications such as: identifying and characterizing natural and anthropogenic landscape changes, describing landscape-human interactions that lead to exposure to infectious diseases, and developing thematic accuracy assessment methods.
